Softball Recap: Nandua Warriors vs. Randolph-Henry Statesmen

Nandua fell victim to Randolph-Henry and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randolph-Henry Statesmen. That's two games in a row now that Nandua has lost by exactly four runs.

For Randolph-Henry's part, Nandua's batters probably weren't too happy with Danner Allen, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 17 Ks (she gave up two walks). Allen has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Glenna Vereen was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Nandua's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Randolph-Henry, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.
