Volleyball Game Preview: Wasilla Warriors vs. Nikiski Bulldogs

The Wasilla Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Nikiski Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wasilla is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Bettye Davis East Anchorage, who was ranked 16th at the time (Wasilla was ranked 11th). The Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbirds on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Nikiski also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Wasilla by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.

Nikiski's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6-5. As for Wasilla, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9-2.
