Battery Creek won the last time they faced Bridges Prep and things went their way on Monday too. The Dolphins came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dolphins.

Battery Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-10.

Battery Creek found their leader in sophomore Edgar Hernandez, who had 15 digs and five aces.

Battery Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Battery Creek's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Bridges Prep, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Coming up, Battery Creek will face off against Academic Magnet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridges Prep, they will challenge May River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
