Basketball Recap: Worthington Takes a Loss

Worthington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Waseca Bluejays 81-34. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Worthington's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Waseca, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worthington will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Fergus Falls at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Waseca, they will venture away from home to take on Randolph at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Waseca knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Randolph likes a good challenge.
