Madison has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 40-27 to Galena Park on Tuesday.
Austin now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Madison, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Austin ended up a good deal behind Madison in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, losing 39-22. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Madison's Azahni Taylor, who scored 15 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
