Recap: Peoria Heights Patriots vs. Astoria/VIT Rebels
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peoria Christian, the Peoria Heights Patriots were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Astoria/VIT by a score of 50-37. That's another feather in the cap for Peoria Heights, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nic Huston, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Foglesong, who scored 11 points.
The win got Peoria Heights back to even at 2-2. As for Astoria/VIT, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peoria Heights' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Woodland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Peoria Heights in Illinois (Woodland is ranked 101st, while Peoria Heights is ranked 293rd). As for Astoria/VIT, they will be playing at home against Midwest Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
