Soccer Recap: Moberly Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Moberly lost against Hannibal on April 3rd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 7-1 to the Pirates. Moberly were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Karlie McGee, who's now up to six this season.

Moberly's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Hannibal, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Moberly and Hannibal should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Spartans (ranked 48th) will meet Boonville (ranked 167th) at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hannibal will take on Mexico at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (19 vs. 165).
