Milan gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Obion County Rebels a 1-0 shutout. Milan's winning goal came courtesy of Emilee Wheeler.

Coming up, Milan will take on Waverly Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Obion County, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Peabody at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
