Preview: Richwood Lumberjacks vs. Bath County Chargers
The Richwood Lumberjacks will head out on the road to face off against the Bath County Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Richwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-41 to Meadow Bridge.
The losing side was boosted by Grant Russell, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Barnhouse , who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Bath County pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The game between Bath County and Eastern Montgomery wasn't particularly close, with Bath County falling 70-55.
Richwood bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bath County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Richwood was dealt a bruising 68-30 loss at the hands of Bath County in their previous meeting back in February. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Richwood was down 44-14.
