Baseball Recap: McNary Celtics vs. South Eugene Axe
McNary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Eugene Axe.
Jeremiah Tracy was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Those runs were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Xavier Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
McNary's record now sits at 3-14. As for South Eugene, with the win, they broke their 11-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-13.
