Baseball Recap: Delano Comes Up Short

Delano lost against Foothill back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Delano came up short against Foothill, falling 19-3.

Delano saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lionel Madrigial, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Madrigial is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Maddox Quiles, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Delano's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Foothill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Delano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-1 defeat against Chavez on the 25th. As for Foothill, they have also already played their next game, a 14-3 loss against Monache on the 24th.
