Volleyball Recap: Sparta Comes Up Short

Sparta lost against Randolph back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Sparta's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Randolph, the win keeps they at an undefeated 15-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sparta is set to take on their familiar foe Jefferson Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Randolph will face off against rival Pope John XXIII at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
