Football Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lakewood's offense. They took a blow against the Pinelands Regional Wildcats on Saturday, falling 29-0. The loss continues a trend for the Piners in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lakewood fell to 2-1. As for Pinelands Regional, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Lakewood will take on Toms River East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pinelands Regional, they will face off against New Egypt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
