Basketball Game Preview: Bon Homme Cavaliers vs. Kimball/White Lake Wildkats

The Bon Homme Cavaliers will square off against the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bon Homme lost 59-39 to Beresford on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Watchdogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Kimball/White Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Mt. Vernon/Plankinton. While losing is never fun, the Wildkats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Titans are ranked 23rd).

Bon Homme's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Kimball/White Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 5-9.

Everything came up roses for Bon Homme against Kimball/White Lake when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 65-38 win. Will Bon Homme repeat their success, or does Kimball/White Lake have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
