Volleyball Recap: Montpelier Comes Up Short

Montpelier lost against Evergreen back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Locomotives lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

Montpelier took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-14, 25-17.

Montpelier's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montpelier will head out to challenge Stryker at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Locomotives their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Evergreen, they will venture away from home to face off against Ottawa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
