Baseball Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short

Harrisburg has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.21 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 10-4 to the Walnut Ridge Bobcats. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Walnut Ridge, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will welcome Manila at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walnut Ridge, they will square off against Buffalo Island Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
