With a playoff win on the line, Academy of the Holy Names rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They never let the DeSoto County Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Taylor Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
