Basketball Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short

Colo-NESCO was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the AGWSR Cougars and fell 55-22. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Cougars are ranked 155th).

Colo-NESCO's record now sits at 4-15. As for AGWSR, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Colo-NESCO has already played their next game, a 58-22 loss against Baxter on the 13th. As for AGWSR, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars take on the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th.
