Havelock also got help from Jalen Morgan, who showed off his sure hands for 131 receiving yards.
Havelock didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Zyking Patillo led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Havelock got some further help from Christopher Bispham: he picked up three sacks and made seven total tackles (4.0 for loss).
The win (which was Havelock's seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.6 points per game. As for Western Alamance, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
Western Alamance took a serious blow against Havelock in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, falling 49-17.
