Preview: North Attleborough Rocketeers vs. King Philip Regional Warriors
The North Attleborough Rocketeers are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the King Philip Regional Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
North Attleborough pushed their score all the way to 58 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milford. While losing is never fun, North Attleborough can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Milford is ranked 112th).
Meanwhile, King Philip Regional pushed their score all the way to 65 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 78-65 to Milford. King Philip Regional just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
North Attleborough's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-15. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for King Philip Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
North Attleborough took a serious blow against King Philip Regional in their previous meeting back in January, falling 73-41. Can North Attleborough avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
