Floresville's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers/Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Floresville's got stronger as the match went on, holding Uvalde to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 25-8.

Emily Hutchinson paced Floresville's offense, picking up ten kills. Hutchinson got some help from Maddie Harden and her 17 assists.

Floresville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season. As for Uvalde, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Coincidentally, Floresville and Uvalde will both be playing Carrizo Springs the next time they take the court. The Tigers/Jaguars will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
