Football Recap: Grassfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Grassfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Oscar Smith Tigers 68-7. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Grassfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oscar Smith, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Grassfield will face off against rival Western Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Oscar Smith is set to square off against their familiar foe Nansemond River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 11.6, the Warriors 13.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
