Ellsworth came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against St. Croix Central, falling 59-39. Ellsworth has struggled against St. Croix Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ellsworth now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Croix Central, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Ellsworth will welcome Durand-Arkansaw at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Croix Central, they will venture away from home to take on Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
