Cohasset made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,809 from 4,591. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-12 victory over Hull last week.
The Skippers led South Shore - Small in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Pirates.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Cohasset's Chris Haggerty and Liam Burke have proven to be a lethal combination. Haggerty has thrown for 219 yards this season, while Burke, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 5 catches for 153 yards. Mashpee's DeShaun Dias leads the league in rushing yards with 334.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Monomoy takes on Carver. The Sharks are in second place, while the Crusaders are in fifth place.
Nick Carpenter broke off the longest rushing play in South Shore - Small this week with a 52-yard run against Carver. Carpenter finished the game with 66 yards on the ground as the Falcons defeated James Rooney's team.
