Basketball Game Preview: Fresno Warriors vs. Stockdale Mustangs

The Fresno Warriors will square off against the Stockdale Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fresno played against Central two weeks ago and won via forfeit.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fresno to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Layfayette Frierson, who made all 10 shots he took to post 21 points and three steals.

On Tuesday, Stockdale needed a bit of extra time to put away Monache. They walked away with a 64-56 win over the Marauders. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
