Softball Recap: Hammond Bishop Noll Takes a Loss

Hammond Bishop Noll has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Highland Trojans. The Warriors have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Hammond Bishop Noll saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Sims, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Hammond Bishop Noll's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Highland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hammond Bishop Noll will face off against Griffith at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Highland, they will take on Hobart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
