Softball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Chester was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Valley Central Vikings, falling 14-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hambletonians have suffered since April 22, 2024.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Valley Central, their record now sits at 3-1.

Looking ahead, Chester will venture away from home to square off against Livingston Manor at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hambletonians are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Valley Central, they will welcome Goshen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gladiators will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
