After only two runs in their last match, Calvary Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Land O' Lakes on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Gators. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Morgen Talley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Claire Caoili was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Alexis Camilleri was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5.

Calvary Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Land O' Lakes struck out 17 times.
