Provo's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jason Carter, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks, and Aaron Castagnetto who scored 20 points. The contest was Carter's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Soakai Aston, who scored no points along with five assists.
The victory makes it two in a row for Monsignor Scanlan and bumps their season record up to 3-3. As for Provo, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
