Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Sound Christian's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Sound Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Auburn Adventist Falcons, falling 80-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered against the Falcons since December 8, 2014.

Sound Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makai Resseau, who posted 14 points and six boards, and Kona Resseau, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mika Lester, who had 12 points.

Sound Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2. As for Auburn Adventist, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Sound Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-51 win against Northwest Yeshiva on the 9th. Auburn Adventist has also already played their next match, an 80-63 defeat against Taholah on the 9th.
