Fremont won against Lynbrook on Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Firebirds walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Monta Vista Matadors. The win was nothing new for the Firebirds as they're now sitting on four straight.

Fremont's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Monta Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Coming up, Fremont will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain View at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Monta Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
