Volleyball Recap: Mundelein Victorious

Mundelein had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Zee-Bees recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Mundelein can attribute much of their success to Rance Cruz, who had 18 digs. That's the most digs Cruz has posted over his last six contests.

Mundelein's victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Zion-Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-27.

Mundelein has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Highland Park on the 27th. Zion-Benton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
