Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hueneme). They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Nordhoff Rangers on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Hueneme's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Nordhoff, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hueneme will finish 2024 at home by hosting Camarillo at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Nordhoff, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Channel Islands at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
