There's no place like home for McCurdy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Escalante Lobos on Wednesday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Lobos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 14-25, 25-16, 25-11.

McCurdy's offense was headlined by Gabriela Velasquez and Marisol Serna, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Kaylee Martinez and her 42 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

McCurdy's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Escalante, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

McCurdy has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Questa on the 7th. Escalante does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
