Baseball Recap: Severance Wins Going Away Against Greeley Central

Severance had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Greeley Central on Monday. The Silver Knights blew past the Wildcats 15-1. The game marked the Silver Knights' most dominant win of the season.

Severance got a massive performance out of Brady Iversen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Iversen a new career-high. Auggie Dominguez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Severance was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Severance pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Greeley Central, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
