Owen McMahan gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Monday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, McMahan and Sycamore will be playing at home against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, McMahan's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the War Eagles' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, McMahan and the War Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Tuesday's match.
