Basketball Recap: Arizona Lutheran Academy Comes Up Short

If Arizona Lutheran Academy was feeling good fresh off their 75-47 takedown of Morenci last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 47-46 to the Fountain Hills Falcons. The Coyotes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 54-40.

Beilke has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ryan Johnson, who posted six points.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Fountain Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.
