Montesano had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the North Thurston Rams.

Montesano's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for North Thurston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

As for North Thurston, they will head out to take on Peninsula at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Seahawks' pitching crew has only allowed 0.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
