Athens can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Saturday. They blew past the Selinsgrove Seals 3-0. The Wildcats not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Athens was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-5.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9-1. As for Selinsgrove, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Athens will square off against Towanda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selinsgrove, they will challenge Hazleton Area at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
