Basketball Recap: Ansonia Falls to Wolcott in First Game of Season

Ansonia had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Wolcott Eagles by a score of 55-53 on Friday. The Chargers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ansonia and Seymour will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wolcott, they will head out on the road to take on Torrington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
