If Arroyo was feeling good fresh off their 73-21 takedown of Castlemont last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Arroyo Dons fell 53-45 to the Alhambra Bulldogs on Saturday. The Dons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Arroyo's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Alhambra, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Arroyo will take on Redwood Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Redwood Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Arroyo likes a good challenge. As for Alhambra, they are taking a road trip to face off against Miramonte at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
