Football Recap: Heritage Pride vs. Broad Run Spartans
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loudoun Valley, Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Broad Run Spartans by a score of 27-19. That's more bragging rights for the Pride, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Leading Heritage to victory were Jonathan Heckman and Reed Alexander. Heckman threw for 175 yards and three TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes, while Alexander rushed for 156 yards while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Alexander really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
