Baseball Game Preview: Campbell vs. Bishop Brady Giants

For the second straight game, Campbell will face off against Bishop Brady. Campbell is taking a road trip to take on Bishop Brady at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Campbell blew Bishop Brady out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Bishop Brady got their revenge. Campbell fell just short of Bishop Brady by a score of 6-4.

Braydon White put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. White was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Michael Grace was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was his first of the season. Jack Curtis was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bishop Brady pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.5 runs this season. As for Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
