Trinity has gone 3-0 against Westinghouse recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Trinity Blazers will host the Westinghouse Warriors at 9:00 a.m. The timing is sure in Trinity's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Westinghouse has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Trinity came up short against Saint Ignatius College Prep on Thursday, falling 63-42. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Wolfpack are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Westinghouse made off with a 54-53 win over Payton College Prep.

Westinghouse's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Everything went Trinity's way against Westinghouse in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as Trinity made off with a 52-28 win. Will Trinity repeat their success, or does Westinghouse have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
