Game recap: Trinity High School Football Team defeats Willows

WILLOWS, Calif. -
Willows (Calif.) fell 26-7 to
Trinity (Weaverville, Calif.).
After taking the lead on a two-point conversion in the second quarter, the Wolves were up 14-7 at the half.
Trinity grew its lead to 13 points entering the fourth quarter. THS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run.
Willows' lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run by
Chris Walter in the first quarter.
The Weaverville school had given up an average of 16.4 points prior to the contest. The seven points that the Honkers ended with were well below their average of 20.6 coming into the game.
The win brought Trinity's winning streak to three games.
Willows (5-4) will play a Sacramento Valley game against Pierce next week, while Trinity (7-2) will take on Mt. Shasta also in a Sacramento Valley game.
