Volleyball Recap: Americas Gets the Win

Americas saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lake View Chiefs/Maidens. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trail Blazers.

Victoria Mata paced Americas' offense, picking up seven kills. Mata got some help from Sole' Sebree and her 13 assists. Zaynna Winfield and Analee Wilson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Americas' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Americas and Lake View will both be playing Abilene the next time they take the court. The Trail Blazers will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Chiefs/Maidens will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
