Baseball Game Preview: Pollok Central Bulldogs vs. Newton Eagles

Pollok Central is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Newton a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Pollok Central Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Newton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Tuesday, Pollok Central came up short against Huntington and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Newton came up short against Diboll on Thursday, falling 19-1.

Newton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callan Hough, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Hough has hit this season.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Pollok Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17-1.
