Spanish Fork posted their closest victory since March 15th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Pleasant Grove Vikings. The Dons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

The team relied heavily on Jade Romero, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. McKenna Anderson also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Spanish Fork's record now sits at 6-8. As for Pleasant Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Spanish Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Lehi on the 12th. As for Pleasant Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-2 win against Alta on the 12th.
