Meanwhile, Kaplan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against St. Martinville, falling 71-15. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-7.

Erath has been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-25 record this season. As for Kaplan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-25.
