Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage managed to slip by Lebanon Trail the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Coyotes came up short against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday, falling 13-4. The Coyotes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Heritage saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karson Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. That run was Smith's first of the season.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-19-1. As for Lebanon Trail, their record now sits at 3-13.

While Heritage had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
